Where to go camping?

So me and a few of my cousins were talking about going camping again this summer. We used to go every year but haven't gone for the past 2-3 years. Where do you guys go camping at? We've been to Napa and Lake Berryessa. We might try Berryessa again since there's jet skis and boats you can rent. Any place you guys recommend? TIA.

I was thinking of Yosemite too becuase I've never been. But I heard that you should stay for a week for it to be worth while. We all work, so we can't afford to take a week off, so it'll have to be for the weekend.

Yosemite is good Mike! Also, try Big Sur... the snow pack's melting so, bring some warm clothing. Have fun!

Up along the coast is beautiful. Mendocino-ish area, Fort Bragg, etc. Lots of great beaches. This time of year its a little cold, but once May/June hits its beautiful.

on the peninsula

Memorial Park near La honda.. We fly right by it on the pescarado run. Great campground. Tent only, big redwoods. close to home. On Pescadaro creek road. Godd hiking trails. And with big run off has a watering hole to swim in.

I just looked at the availability of Big Sur, and it looks like it's all booked up until September. I guess you really do have to book a year in advance. Time to look at other places. Keep the suggestions coming, thanks everyone.

Are you going to unkept camp site or maintain camp site because you can can try Sly Park or any area in the Crystal Basin Recreation Area(Ice House Reservior)

We go up to Ice House and ruff it out in the back country through Loon Lake..
