I was involved in the same thing couple months ago, some dude don't know how to park right, parked exactly the same as in the pix hit my car while he was backing out and took off, didn't had a chance to take a pix

hey chippie

is your paint scraped off? if not, i may be able to buff some of it out so it can look decent for the time being. just a suggestion.

Dang. Shouldn't be hard to get back to like new condition though. Just make sure you take it to a good shop.

I'd be pissed if I saw that. First off I hate when people park like that or when they double park. Second, to totally deny that they hit you would be absurd. I'd call the cops right after I saw that and write down all information I could, take pics, etc. The cops would need to be there to protect whoever else is in the other car if they don't want to cooperate.

Ya, the paint is down to the primer, I think. The wife is embarrased to drive it cause of the way it looks. You're welcome to try. Heck, she would love to have it detailed anyhow so she would look cool when she goes to work. That and it needs it desparately.

sorry to hear it chippie, guy needs to learn how to park.... and good thing u bit ur tounge or it would of been on cnn news "off duty CHP Officer was arrested due to beating a hit and run offender when denying he hit the officers off duty car!" lol

the good thing is he picked the WRONG car /person to do that too!!! glad you persisted to wait him out!! Side note.. i just had the same thing happen to me on my JUST painted front bumper... someone backed into it just enough to put a crack in the paint.. short story.. new clear bra/new paint

The car went into the body shop for a week. This is what the wife gets to drive in the mean time.

Why do I feel that a normal civilian/citizen who isnt with LA would not get so much attention from the local PD

just crazy how our society works...

^Unless campbell PD is real courteous, I dont think the general public would get such attention.
