#1 is definitely a given. #2 is a strong candidate provided I get certain things chopped out. #3 is lighter than #4, but #4 (despite the haze in the headling & darkness) looks cooler because of the headlights being on and the light from the SF skyline.

^ I like that better with the trash can and van... I think those just gave the background a less empty feel, and really adds to the feel of the environment of the shoot...

I like these two the most...

I guess everyone has their own opinions, and i understand Grant and Calvin's feedback but everyone has their own style.

- I personally liked the way the lighting came out in the last two. i'm sick of seeing the same tone of dg and i liked how it brought out different variations in the color. the darkness added to that effect and since i did not have strobes, the tone of the background skyline would have been ruined if the foreground was brightened. yes, there is a little noise, but blowing an image up to such a large size sacrifices much more quality, and if this is being viewed from a distance then the difference is almost negligible.

- I'm staring at the revised copy of #2 and i personally don't think the trashcan or van detract from the car/picture. To me either version works. I actually did not even notice them until it was brought up. If you're going to take out those you might as well take out the two cars in the lot behind it as well as the large portable. If anything, to me that black&white water hose handle is more distracting than any of those.

Bottom line: Rob, just pick what you like best

Personally, I like #1 the most.
