Shane, the first time we ever talked was at the beach on the Stanford run. You had your M3 trunk open and you were giving away croissant sandwiches. I remember asking you if I could have one and you said, "Well, that's why I brought them! You think I'm gonna eat all 20 of them myself?

I looked you up and down and was ready to answer you with a YES but thought better of it since I had just met you.

I learned three things that day: 1, Croissant sandwiches are hella good, 2, Never to ask you stupid questions, and, 3, that you have the biggest heart that anyone can possibly have. Thank you for everything you did for me, our group, and Driver.

I won't say goodbye because I know this isn't the end. I don't care what you say, you'll be back and you know it.

Take good care and if you ever need anything we're here for you, Bigfoot.

Shane....,I will MISS you big guy, my very first time meeting you was on the dry run that Rob setup.. I was a shai guy back then you made it easy for me to talk to the group. then the SCIII dry run that I showed up to a week early and got made fun of for half the year.Thank you for making this newbie feel like part of the family,and setting up all the great meets!! PLEASE come out to one last mini meet so we can all wish you on a great journey that you're going to be on. LOVE YOU Shane!

Shane, you've obviously made a big impression on many people as we can see by some of the examples here. My story rings the same.

The first time Laura and I met you, you were very kind to us and made us feel very welcome. Since then we've had the pleasure of having you at our house on many many GM * Garage meets and a few parties. We kicked it and got...sort of drunk with the gang and watched you dance the night away on a pole or two lol. I can't thank you enough for the good memories and laugh after laugh after laugh you've given me.

Laura and I wish you well on your next journey Shane and you will never be forgotten and be very missed. I refuse to believe you won't return Shane, instead, we will be patient and await your return.

So the time has come i see. Well Shane you are a great guy with a big heart(no i dont meen it that way). On all the runs you would sacrifice running with the guys up front to go ahead to get video and pics of everybody. It is people like you that makes Nor Ca what it is ...a Family. You must be special for us to allow a M at our meets (JK). Shane I wish you happiness in your travels and i hope that you will stay in touch. Shane you may not be with us much longer in person but you will be in spirit. Shane take care of yourself big guy.. you will be missed and never forgoten!!

Even though we've only met a few times... you've made quite the impression and my only regret is not having been able to know you sooner. I hope things work out for you, whatever it is that you have to do for yourself. I hope to see you again (possibly at a G meet instead of the civic one? ) .
