My front side factory tinted windows were ~73% with my tinters light meter.
He wanted to show me that any additional film would make them illegal and I sign a waiver to release him of any liability if he put my Huper Optiks over those.

Chris... 50% looks clean. If I had an M3, I would probably do 35% all around, but on the G, I think 20% looks good.

From the pictures I've seen, 35% seems to be a good medium between the look of luxury and that of sportiness. Too dark can appear gangster-ish or ricer-ish in my opinion

What kind of changes are you thinking about? It's still 70%, or basically nothing, allowed for front/passenger sides...

Looking through pictures, I've noticed ceramic quite a bit more transparent, so a 35% ceramic is more like a 40-50% dyed film, it appears.

Yeah right after getting it done, I wished I had gotten 35% but then again if I had gotten 35% I would've ended up wishing I had gotten 50. hahaha.

I have 20% all around. Got pulled over once in Walnut Creek by a motorcycle cop. He used one of those window tint meters and it the tint came up as 18%. so technically I have 18% all around. lol
