Unhappy Tint Ticket

I just got a ticket in Sacramento for V.C. 26708 for my front tint and CHP officer marked it as Not Correctable, why? I inted to remove my tints but how is it going to get signed off if its not a correctable ticket? Can I just pay the fine? What are my options here?

Thanks

What really sucks is that this is the 3rd or 4th tint ticket mentioned here in the past few weeks...cops must be cracking down.

What % was your front tint?

I got ticked for the same thing. same tint % too.
Mine was correctable. All i did was took my tints
off my window and had a CHP officer singed it off
and paid $10 for correction fee.

You have tints on the front so thats why the ticket. For those who have front tinted windows, we know that it is illegal. Just deal with it when and if you ever get a ticket. Too many posts on here about tint tickets. If you dont want to get a ticket then dont have tint. If you got a ticket, then it just was not your day. Move on...

WOW....I did not know I had my front windows tinted! I never said I did not want to deal with the issue or never did mention that I was going to fight the ticket. I just wanted to know why its not a correctable ticket, I thought tint tickets were all correctable tickets. If you don't have anything positive to say shut the hell up.

You should be asking CHP why it was written as non correctable. Ill help you out even more since you are such a nice guy. PM G35 Chippie and ask him. He is the expert on responses to the countless people with tint questions. He will give you the low down on the law and how you can proceed.
