good muffler shop that wont f' it up

I'm thinking I want a muffler shop to fix my hangers on my topspeed exhaust so it fits correctly and not angled.. also do you think its possible to add a muffler/resonator to the midpipe to reduce some of the noise, but keep the same tone? Where should I go around the bay to do this?

NorCal recommendations....!

Try this, go to Regional Forums....then NorCal....at the top of that page
there's a section for shops/repairs where members in your area recommend
shops they have used/liked. With any luck at all they'll have a muffler shop
in your area that will do the job right!

bad experience with Muffler-Tech.

after I got it done, there was a clicking sound or something... Took it back in and they said the hangars was loose or something.

Yeah I've heard good things about golden auto, I was going to go there to have a resonator removed.

If you add a resonator, Ii believe it will make it sound deeper. Adding resonators definitely make it quieter though.

is there a way to add a muffler to the midpipe though, and keep my existing 2 end mufflers where the tips are? I want it to be quieter/less droney, and idk if a resonator will do all that much since it already has a small one

I guess you're only option is too swap out the muffler. If you want something REALLY quiet, check out the Fujitsubo or the NISMO. They are the same muffler but branded differently. I had the Fujitsubo and it was VERY quiet. A bit too quiet but I was running stock headers and cats.

Took my car to Golden Auto Muffler & Brake Center in Daly City. Fast & inexpensive. They'll work with you to make sure the tips are aligned the way you want.
