Got some new parts for the sex. whohoo.
Went to LA last weekend to hang-out and picked-up couple of parts.
I'm so excited, I finally found the front bumper that I really want, that its too expensive to obtain now-a-days because no stores carry them anymore. Last time I checked bulletproof automotive, they wanted $2000+ tax+ shipping from japan for a damn fiberglass and probably will take forever to get. Its a very rare bumper too. Its called Marga Hills and I got it for $1200 brand new, no waiting. whoohoo..
Here's how it looks like. Sorry I didn't get to take picture of the actual bumper but it looks better installed anyway.
If you notice on the side of the bumper, there's this triangular vent thing, I think it looks ricey especially looking at it from the sides, so I'll ask my body guy to fill that up.
Then I was going to get the skirts as well, here's how it looks on the side.
I love the skirts, I love the vent But that extra bulge whatever infront of the skirt bugs the crap out of me. It just doesn't look right, it doesn't go well with the car. BUT with the wide-body front fender it actually looks really good.
So I found a skirt replica of the Marga Hills but without the bulge.. whoohoo.. Great fitment and uses factory tabs for easy installation. Here's my car with the skirts and the wings-west rear-spats. Don't mind the scissor-jack that's holding the spats. hahaha..
In the background you can see the wings west lip which is now going to be for sale, and the NSX Type-R hood that will go on the car.
I was going to paint the car with the american made wings west kit which are the vented sides, front-lip and the rear-spats. I crossed-out the Marga Hills kit because I can't justify the cost. There are quite few selections out there but none gave me the wow factor that this kit gave me. I'm so glad I lagged on painting it... I'm just happy... Decided to just share it with my g friends.
Alright, time to work-on the car and get this car ready. This will be our wedding get-away car.. hehe.
