dont go calling people menaces if there tail lights are still very much visible. i dont know the case about your brother but either the person had much darker overlays than what most g35 owners that i have seen are doing or he wasnt paying attention. dont go around spewing hate at everyone

Of course the light itself can't be covered, but there are reflectors back there that can't be covered up either. If you can still see the reflectors too, he has no reason to give you a ticket.

XET, i actually don't have a brother, and i thought my comment was obvious sarcasm, due to it's incredible unlikeliness. however, you have proven me wrong.... good day sir

You can tell pretty quick that UR2EZ is a smarta** who likes to stir up ****. Just take a look at his profession. He somehow leaked into our nice NorCal section but hopefully he will stay in Texas.

You do not know me so please keep your comments off my thread, I am by no means a menace to society.

codeflux- no I am not demodding just cleaning up the engine bay a little.

Matthimself- my overlays looked just like yours so be careful, I had no issues for 3 years till yesterday, tried to take mine off last night but the darn film keeps snapping

Have you ever gotten "asked" about that? Seems like don't really care about forced induction unless you get pulled over for driving wrecklessly or racing or something like that.

I have never been asked but again I don't drive like an idiot either, you pretty much have to give them a cause to pull you over so that they can do the rest of their search.

matthimself- It depends on the the officer he said he could give me a fix it or a tail light modification fine which is a lot more money.

Tail overlays/tint look very good on certain color G's and compliment it well. I think all black Gs should have smoked lights. This is far from ricey. We are not talking about euro lights you find on civics here Tex. Those are almost always accompanied with a fart can exhaust.

^ Agree 100%. Tex keeps digging a deeper hole with every post

Paul....
Consider which town that happened in. It's kinda a one horse town and they always looking for outsiders to profile.
Get it written off, then go with GTR style. Maybe only 3/10 instead of 6/10 tint or solid 3/10 so not as dark as before

Stealth in progress I have not a clue what you're talking about

UR2EZ if you have nothing meaningful to say then don't post.

John I am looking at getting something to replace the overlays with but with cutouts for the lights and reflector.
