fight it you have no choice with that many points, in sacramento extensions will not allow you to go to traffic school, im pretty sure its the same in frisko.
if you fight it before you go to a lawyer go trail by written decl. if you lose you can request a trial by denovo and get a court date. its like starting fresh, then you can get a lawyer.
just write the letter saying you didnt want to endager anyone by driving slower than the flow
22350. No person shall drive a vehicle upon a highway at a speed greater than is reasonable or prudent having due regard for weather, visibility, the traffic on, and the surface and width of, the highway, and in no event at a speed which endangers the safety of persons or property.

First of all, the arguement that someone had to drive fast so as not to endanger the safety of persons or property is ludicrous. Second of all, even if the judge would allow that arguement, that arguement is a mute point if he was cited for 22349(a)- exceeding 65 MAXIMUM, or 22349(b)-exceeding 55 MAXIMUM on two lane undivided highway. Safety is not element the officer has to prove when citing a maximum speed limit, only that it was exceeded.

Question for you traffic school guru's.

according to the court, my traffic school renew is on 10/3/2008, meaning i can take traffic school after that date again.. but i got the ticket on 9/16/2008. I havent went to court yet or requested for anything, can i still take traffic school even though i am allowed to now, but i got the ticket BEFORE it was renewed?
