Thanks, Nam! Gotta give credit to the power outage for those shots last night.


Thanks to Papa I'm now playing around with HDR. I just wanted to show how much you can do to a pic with software to actually save an image:


Top one is the raw file with no adjustments. For the next two I used Camera Raw to take the RAW file exposure down 1 and up 1 setting and saving each image. Now with three images I used Photomatix Pro to blend the exposures, then went into Photoshop to bump up the saturation in Lab Color mode and mess with the levels.

Out of those last two images I like the bottom one more since it's more realistic looking. I know some people love those crazy HDR images. Depending on the image I rather not go nuts with HDR effect, but that's just me.

I'm sure Gene, Nam and some of you guys already messed around with HDR. Fun, fun, fun!
