Smog Cert.

My somg certification is due next month. Is a cold air intake or plenum spacer a problem during smog check?

You mean if they do the job they are required to do? So that the children of the future don't have to grow up with Emphysema and Asthma? That does it. I'm calling Erin Brockovich on you!

If your CAI came with a CARB sticker, I'd sport that. Most independent shops won't hassle taking off plenum cover when they do visual. Every independent shop I've gone to with my older vehicles do basic visuals before sniffing. It's their license on the line if they don't. My 02.
