who's going ATI with their G

I've been looking into this for a while. I'm wondering if the intercooler will even fit? In my350z.com there are plenty of pics from the 350Z install, and it seems to me that the intercooler takes up quite a big space and needs full air flow to work properly.Unless it is placed behind the grill, those little holes on the bottom of my G35coupe justlook too small. The impul front bumper is sweet/stock looking with fog lights and an opening like the 350Z,but costs an arm & a leg.Because of this and a few other reasons,ATI/Stillen is still a toss for me.
Hopefully one of our G35 bro's installs with pics. soon!
I found out that ATI just received smog cert. in CA finally.

if it becomes a very lage problem you could have an intercooler for each litttle opening on the bottom. Though that will cost more it will keep everything very cool. Or the other road to take may be to do and air to water stlye intercooler vrs. the air to air or what ever its called. I know the water kind a much more effecent but cost more.

Re: who's going ATI with their G

haven't you seen pix of the TT g35coupe? They just stuck the intercooler in the middle.

Maybe just design some scoops from the two lower vents to direct the air across the intercooler.

I'm guessing ATI is a company who makes turbos for our cars huh? Has it even come out yet?

Re: who's going ATI with their G

You haven't seen any posts on this procharger/centrifical supercharger or was that a joke? Accessable Technologies Inc. has released their model for the 350Z and is taking orders for our G's.Go to my350z.com to check it out.I am wondering if the intercooler will fit and receive enough air.I know a few G35's were in on the group buy when it was first introduced,I'm just waiting for them to post pics and answer q's.

This is the intercooler for the 350Z (posted by jritoli.)

According to dfw_infiniti over at FreshAlloy, Grubbs Infiniti should have their G35 Coupe back next week with the ProCharger supercharger installed.

Re: who's going ATI with their G

That would be correct. They had to place the IC slightly offcenter towards the passenger side because it was the best way for the bumper to fit back on the car. I don't think it will matter as much when the car is putting out ~370 rwhp, though

Re: who's going ATI with their G

Just to add a little more informaiton to cryhavok's post: the bumper wouldn't fit back on w/ the IC centered b/c of the piping that you can see to the right of the IC. They couldn't make the bends for the pipes and fit all of that other HP making magic in there w/ out taking the IC off center.
