thanks i finally found it.

i weighed my car today. kinda ghetto looking lol... but i weighed the car at 3440 without me in it.

2004 6mt fully loaded w/o spare, empty tank of gas, 20's, hks exhaust, hfc, 15lb battery, aftermarket front bumper and side skirts.

 

scale circled on the right, view it on the left.

 

hmmm....mine must be a porker. weighed in at 3740 during my corner balance without me inside.

 

oem spec is 3435 according to edmunds. not sure if that is dry or wet weight.

Glad you found it, David. Yea its pretty Ghetto, but u cannot beat the price Plus its very empty. so you can experiment while your car is on the scale.. Looks like your car is pretty light. 15 lbs battery? Im jealous. My yellow top is like 38 lbs or something

 

I went again today, this time with a full tank of gas. 3540lbs.. so my car gained an extra 100lbs from gas. i'm thinking i should just fill up half way. lol.

 

wow. never thought the full tank will make 100 lbs difference. Everyone empty your tank before going to the scale LOL..

 

Every gallon of gas weighs about 8 pounds, so if you ran full empty, it'd be 160 pounds less, but if he was just on the main tank, which is about 16, he's be 128 pounds more.
