I too was a victim. My rims/tires were stolen off my car yesterday. I had 19 inch stock OEM rims. I feel horrible. I came outside only to find my poor baby sitting on 4 concrete blocks. The front grille was damaged when they dropped the car so I need autobody work. It hurts even more to know that people were actually laughing and making fun of me.. DAMN HATERS!! Hate to see a female doing her thing.Anyways I just got my car towed to Infiniti and my insurance is replacing my wheels. The crazy thing is that tow driver stated that he just picked up a G37 with the same issue..

Sorry to hear of your misfortunes.. do u live in the same area as the other victims?
if you're going to get work done by infiniti, I recommend Beshoff in SJ, they're really awesome.

I think we should park a G and wait for them one night.. teach them a lesson

Sorry to hear that.

Since your insurance is going to pick up the tab, might want to find out how much they are paying out to replace them. Those stock 19’s from dealerships could be as expensive as some of the aftermarket wheels, so it might be a good opportunity for you to get some aftermarket wheels.

Stolen G35 Rims.

I live in NY where it is infamous to steal rims. I decided to get the same rims back because I actually like the stock rims and think they look good on the vehicle. I spoke with the tow truck driver and he stated that there is a string of g35/g37 rim robberies. I am a hard working female who wants to have nice things. This freakin sucks.. The thing that is killing me is that the thieves (LOW LIVES) came into my condominium complex and stole them while I was parked in my damn spot. These are some bold *****....

*gasps* New york..

over at myg37 forum there has already been 5-6 cases of stolen wheels in NY alone!! it's ridiculous. I haven't heard of any instances in norcal though. Then this one guy from soCaL not only had his wheels stolen but the car badly vandalized as well.

http://myg37.com/forums/g37-coupe/19...am-i-wish.html

I think there are 10+ cases of stolen g37 wheels to date.. and counting.. madness

Iv had people take the wheels off of my g and my mothers g6 in the same night. Both cars had wheel locks and alarms... kinda funny how bold they are.

Is there any specific type of wheel locks I can get? The ones from the dealership are trash. I don't want to spend too much money upgrading this car. I plan on giving it back next year.

Spot on. Kris is right, if someone wants what you have bad enough they will get it.

You can have 5 different wheel locks on and all it does is sloooooow em down.

Best of luck to you and I hope you don't suffer a loss like this again.

i used to have 3 sets of wheel locks till i learned how to break up lug nuts. they use the same tool for all of them lol.

i think the best locks were those mc gards that look like half acorns. those were a bitch to brake off.
