Wheels stolen last week, new wheels on last night.

So after a few other G35 members were hit by thivese, I was also a victim last week. My neighbor knocked on my door at 6am and informed me that my car was on blocks. I was thinking to myself how is that possible when I had 2 different sets of wheel locks on it?!? I went outside and sure enough here it was....

So I called the police and insurance company and got that taken care of. My wheels came in yesterday so I havent really taken any pictures except with my phone, so here are a couple teaser shots....

Also ordered the Kyo-Ei Dency 2000 wheel locks, so hopefully this doesn't happen again.

Sucks that they got you. Good thing your insurance covers your aftermarket goodies. Your rotors look hella small in that first picture.

How much are those new wheel locks??

Really sorry to see you got jacked like that but nice replacements you have there. I'm sure having those helps you forget a little what happened before

The Dency 2000 Wheel Nuts by KYO-EI, the same company that produces Kics spaces, utilizes and electronic magnetic key for superior theft prevention.

Electronic Key
Developed with leading manufacturer Miaw lock
Locks with powerful magnetic force, duplication would be very difficult
With the adoption of the ferrite magnet, high degree of safety
Because there is no key hole, makes it very hard to pick
Lightweight form for improved wheel balance.

Core Nut Key
Abundant lock pattern.
Preventing the slide with the form which thought of the dispersion of torque.
Super hard (SCM435) forging for increased durability

They were about $140 shipped from rhdjapan.com

Midnight Auto Supply at work....!

Thank God for insurance, that was a quick recovery. New wheels look nice,
how long will you have them if you don't an aftermarket alarm on your G?
I could remove those wheel locks in a New York minute. There's only two
ways to protect your car, a good alarm with a motion detector/shock sensor
or locked up in a garage with a mean azz dog like mine....and that's 100%
fool proof!

I bet that was a huge relief not to have to jump through insurance hoops.
The new wheels look good!

Glad you got your new wheels without any hassles from insurance. I too have AAA, is aftermarket wheels something you have to add onto your policy? Should I add it to mine?

umm.. its pretty easy to get those locks off if they could get the other 2 kinds you had on there off... just get a garage... or put a surveillance cam near where you park
