If you could . . .
What would you have done differently in your past, which would have changed your present circumstances?
Me? . . . Aside from some very minors items, I consider myself quite fortunate to find myself in my present circumstances. This NorCal community has been an added bonus.

Been more academically focused earlier on...
i failed my way through HS and then spent 2 years at a junior college literally doing nothing (signing up for classes and dropping them a few weeks later)
Granted im back in school and doing good now, i wasted 2 years doing nothing and set myself up for a hard time by doing sh!tty in HS.

Wouldn't have went into dentistry, or any health field for that matter. I'm just not interested in it at all and the path is long, hard, and expensive.
I'm doing it for the perks basically; owning my own practice, ability to make a ton of money, and the prestige of being a doc. The more time that goes on, the more I start thinking these things aren't as worth it because I could get it (albeit in probably a lesser degree) doing things I actually like.
I could be a lot worse off, so I won't complain too much.

I wish I'd made my own decisions more and not been influenced as much by others growing up. Fvck the stupid International Baccalaureate program my high school ran - it means nothing to colleges in the US . Lastly I should have picked a major right off the bat when I was applying to colleges instead of choosing "undeclared"
