My fiance has been attending MTI Paul Mitchell for almost a year now and will be graduating soon. The school's income has dropped dramatically, so to make up for it they are screwing the students. Basically, they have told the students that if they do not have a minimum of 2 clients per week they will be on probation and after 2 weeks expelled. Now one would think, that it isn't too much to get 2 clients in a week. Well, any walk in clients are automatically handed off to a handful of students that make more per service. After paying 20k in 1 year's tuition to the school, you figure they would be responsible for the advertisting. They are not taking their responsibilities as a school. So, unless we can get 2 clients per week for the next 8 weeks, she could potentially be expelled. I find it to be completely BS but until I can prove what they are doing is illegal we have to bend over and... you get the picture.

So I ask, if there is anyone in the Sac area, that can hit me up and sign up for a hair cut. My Fiance does an awesome job and has basically already been hired by a magazine company for doing models hair before and after photo shoots.

The cost for a cut is only $10, male or female, you also get a shampoo. If you can help us out to assure she is not screwed over by some power tripping 21 year old "instructors", either PM me or post here. I would want to personally take your appointment because even when people call in and request her and some others, the lie tell you they are not available and hand them off. (Again a way they are screwing students over.)

If you go get a hair cut from the school she has agreed to give you an additional hair cut at a later date free of charge. The only restriction is it would be after she graduates (I almost positive 2 months) and come to our house. This would apply solely to a cut.

Her schedule will specifically be post be I know she's there Tuesday - Saturday 9:30 - 5 pm She just has instruction during some periods of the week.

Tell her to put an add on Craigs List. My daughter is a stylist at a Paul Mitchell exclusive salon in San Luis Obispo and she put an add out for models for her Wed. eve. classes and got quite a few responses. She also ran an add for different discounts and got good responses.

Now we live in a college town so that helps, but everyone is looking for a deal so she should get some calls. Amanda put her cell number and just had people call her directly, that might eliminate any client stealing if she can make the appointments herself.

Good luck, Paul Mitchell has some really weird rules, but the stylist make bank once they get established.

Sorry to hear that Trent. I hate MTI as well because I went there and they tried to screw me out of $1500+ for some BS classes that had no relevance to my major. I will need a haircut soon, so I will give you a call.
