Exclamation !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just a heads up for anybody that is going to this meet:

Cops in Alameda is notorious for flagging down cars, keep your speed UNDER the speed limit at all times. And I'm totally serious, they have tricky hiding spots and if you go over speed limit by even 5mph, they will pull you over. It also doesn't help that our cars are so sporty and sexy, they will definitely keep an eye out for ticketing opportunity. And how am I so sure about all this? I lived in Alameda for 10 years

Yeah, I may have exaggerated a bit but some1 I know really got unlucky and got pulled over for something really little.
Just wanted to look out for fellow G members; BTW Alameda Naval base is super nice! I used to go there w/ my friends w/ a 40 and just chill. LOL

haha yeh, just keep it under 30mph and you'll be fine. APD usually does not pick on modified cars... just drive within speedlimit, yield to pedestrians, and do complete stops at stop signs and you'll be safe.

Oh boy, now you all got my attention. Mine is modified. Simple of course, tinted windows and no license late, but underhood...ooops. I will set my cruise at 3 mph below speed limit, and hope they don't even look my way. We never have problems down our way, even with the Honda's or others. If speed limit is 30, I'll be at 27mph, it's 35 I'll be at 33mph and that will be on cruise.

^lol the 1/4 tank restriction is set by the fire marshall... it's pretty much applies to all indoor events... there's plenty of gas stations in alameda

My biggest fear with the 1/4 tank is getting caught up in line going in and leaving. Rules are rules, don't want to **** off the fire marshal....
