Need To Borrow Tailights

Does anyone have an extra set of taillights I can borrow to swap out for my smoked ones? I need to get a ticket signed off. I would only need them for a day or so. Thanks in advance.

Not a single person has some extra tails sitting around? I know some have upgraded to JDM or 06 07 tails...

Troy, I dont have an extra one.. but if u need non-smoked taillight we can just take it off my car and do it. My schedule is a bit crazy though, so I guess we just have to coordinate the right timing... Weekend would prob work best. Let me know...

They are easy to take off... I can put my smoked ones on yours incase you need to take your car somewhere. All we need to do is remove the liner in trunk then undo 4 lil bolts. Ive already taken mine off before. PM me when the best time for you Evan. You can come to me or I can go to your place. You only about 10 minutes from me.

Matt... thanks for the offer. Evan is really close to me so it would work out better. I just need to put em on and take it to a police station to get it signed off. Piece of cake. I dont want to pay the $150 fine they trying to get. haha

If you got cited for 26101 VC, it's not correctable, at least in Santa Clara County. Yes, you still have to get the lights returned to orginal and signed off, but it's not a $25 sign off. Some counties may be different, though.

Chippie is right. 26101 VC is not just $25 sign off. Troy, check your citation first to see if its 26101 VC. Thats what I got last time and it wasnt pleasant.

Thanks Lucas, Do let me know when u get your new wheels. We should do a photoshoot then with my newfound car

Violations: VC 26101: Modification Of Equipment

From what I see on ticket, it is correctable. I will swap out the tails and take it to traffic court. I expect to pay $25 only.
