It's funny how the local community was "outraged" and trashed tparts of he city when a guy with a long rap sheet was shot and killed by a BART police officer. Why aren't they "outraged" after four officers were gunned down while trying to protect their neighborhood? Maybe OPD should go out to East Oakland to protest and vent their frustration too.

Its sad how little respect OPD gets in East Oakland.. I dont know why OPD even bothers patrolling the streets of East Oakland, the city should lets that area destroy itself.

On my way to work this morning I saw a convoy with flashing lights doing about 45mph on 880 north as I drove from Fremont to Union City. It was a sight that was overwhelming. All officers had a sad/serious look on their face. They all looked very sharp, especially the motorcycle officers. I had a sad/emotional feeling that is just indescribable.

My Prayers go out to all the LEO's families and friends.

I saw the rolling closure too. It's a somber sight.

Thoughts and prayers go out to the families of the fallen officers...

Go out and THANK your local law enforcement for their services! They deserve it!
