Make sure you have your fuse and inline fuse and then you will need inline splicers that you can get from radio shack to tap in to the preamp signal from them amp. Your amp shouldnt need an LOC so just splice an RCA cable.
As far as taping in to the wires, its pretty easy. You gotta decide if you wanna tap in to front or rear first though. I tapped in to the fronts since I am replacing my front speakers too, but I think it works better anyways if you plan on doing many front sound staging so you get full output. https://g35driver.com/forums/audio-v...g35-coupe.html That link shows you how to do it hooking up to the rear preamp outputs from the hu. I have to check my car if you want fronts. Let me know if you need any help with the setup/install.

Do you already have an inline fuse holder? Different fuse holders will take different types of fuses, so make sure you get the right type. That amp should be pulling just over 20amps at max output, so a 30amp fuse should be good.
did you buy an amp wiring kit? an inline fuse holder is the fuse holder that goes closest to your battery. since you are new to car audio stuff i would highly recommend you get it installed at a shop or at least have someone knowledgeable show/help you set up your system.

i just looked up what an inline fuse holder is, guess i need a picture to know what it is lol. ok ill need to pick that up, and a 30a fuse. do i need anything else before i try installing it tomorrow.
no prob...as far as other things you might need I think you should be good with 2 x 4ga ring terminals, at least 5 x inline splicers, and inline fuse holder + fuse. You will prolly want some silicone to seal up the grommet on the firewall as well once you get the power cable through.
as a side note, different inline fuse holders use different types of fuses. when at the car audio shop just let them kno what gauge wire you are using and how many watts. they should be able to tell you what will work best.
also...i will actually be in the city tomorrow and mite be able to lend a hand in the afternoon if you need some help. just let me know and ill see if i have time.

THAT IS if you want to wait. i am getting it done from him too but he cant start on mine until august/September and i gave a call back in Feb.
i had a deck in my mr2 installed which was fine. I had a media deck installed in my land cruiser, that was a mess and still a mess. told them to disconnect the original antenna and put a new one, took it back twice and they said they'll take car of it but didn't. I bought an antenna from them and they didn't install it.. LOL.
