Your opinion: Beshoff Meet- what would you change?
For an even better meet in 2010:
I have made notes on this an will include these ideas for next year.
- Registration after parking so to speed the entry into the event
- Different choice of food: spegetti
- Outside seating and tables
- More parking spaces for RSVP participants(120)
- 2nd concession stand with drinks and snack food
- Trophy categories:
- Best Mod'ed G35
- Best Mod'ed G37
- Best Mod'ed Z
- High mileage award of event (pre 2007)
- High mileage award *new car of event (2007 and newer)
- Best detailed car
- Furthest traveled
I have made notes on this an will include these ideas for next year.

I'm posting from Beshoff's Internet Cafe/waiting area.
Anyhow, I have one more thing to add: I liked the fact that you guys had aftermarket parts for sale. I say more of that at the next Meet would be a great idea.

I really enjoyed the meet and I actually didn't mind the food, I didn't feel like eating a hotlink so I got the veggie burger and I'm not a vegitarian and I have to say, they were actually really good. The only thing I would change is that there shoiuld have been more categories for awards, not that I would have won something haha, I just saw some really nice cars that I think deserved to win something. Thanks for making it happen, will be there next year.
Test drives on that F430
Brian, this was an awesome meet! Your staff is very friendly and creative. I love the name placard and I'm keeping it my car =P
Suggestions on improvements? You had a perfect meet!
As for food: I agree with Andy and RawFusion that you can't make everyone happy, no matter what. It was very thoughtful to go with a vegetarian menu in order to show our support for animals and the HSSV.
+1 for separating the food from the drinks. It was somewhat of a hassle to wait in line to get a drink b'c it was the same line for food and food takes longer to transact (people want this or that, or can't make up their minds @.@ )-- also, more variety in drinks would be nice too.
The only other things I can think of is to help you boost sales, revenue and advertising . Maybe have some products placed outside or near the event so that people are aware/can see what kind of deals you got going on and what products you offer. You can also park the vehicles who got those products closer to the product so people can see how it looks (when applicable..I.E. a suspension, intake systems, rims, etc..)
I would also recommend further advertising of the meet to other forums and car clubs. my line of thinking is--> Beshoff Infiniti has a strong brand recognition among Infiniti/Nissan Enthusiasts in the local area, and definitely excels in service, but we need to expand that user base. In other words, we want enthusiasts to convert over from whatever they drive (BMW,lexus, honda, acura,etc..) to Infiniti/Nissan. What better way to show those car enthusiasts of other brands that here at Beshoff, we support and encourage our enthusiasts and we already have a large group of followers who support us (and that is evident in itself by the large attendance/turn out of G's and Z's)

i wouldnt change a thing about the award catergories. i like how theyre very generalized. doesnt matter whether its a g35/ g37. best modded, is best modded. although we can add like a runner up or 2nd place award or a certificate.
awards that get too specific make it too easy to win.

+1 for the runner up idea ..also, it is hard to do the judging..
What criteria is one suppose to judge with? Looks, performance, execution? etc..
It might become too costly to do awards in the long run since there'd be too many categories.

Please DON'T make it into a show. This event really should be just for enthusiasts to come out and share the love for this platform and celebrate a company (Beshoff) for the great service they are providing the community. The rest is a bonus you get for coming out.
^ I agree!!!
