LOL . . . This is not about us. Beshoff Infiniti takes very good care of "Us" when we go there for our service needs. That mere fact should stand on its own merit . . . And as such, Beshoff deserves our support in helping them grow their business. That is what this past meet was all about.

Anything which goes beyond their stellar service and customer care is definitely an added bonus. Brian has been more than generous. I would be embarrassed to ask or expect any more from Beshoff Infiniti. It's time to return the favor, folks.

Pretty much like everyone said, it was a great event all around. To me, even the food was good. The only suggestions I have are maybe name tags or tags with the members username and maybe a different way to judge the cars you're giving awards/prizes to. Maybe the staff of Beshoff.

I agree with a mix-panel judge.. having members judge members never end up well --especially since they have their own biases
I think staff + drivers, or non-competing/affiliated members at least

IMHO . . . Future car shows will inevitably lead to many hurt feelings. The Beshoff staff doesn't have the time to judge (it's still open for business) nor do I think that they should be put in that position. Members should not judge, as I mentioned to Brian, because the final results will always be questioned.

What's wrong with simply having a nice non competitive community gathering? Based on what I have read thus far, a car show has a high potential for bad feelings. Personally, I don't think we all want to put Beshoff in that position.

I really liked the Meguiars Class. I learned a lot, and am now looking to purchase one of the DA buffers. One thing I would like is a sunblock booth. It was overcast when I left the house in the morning, and I didn't cote the dome. Boy, do I regret not doing that. Maybe next year, we can raise money for skin cancer awareness. LOL

thats why there are score cards. honestly people dont know how to judge.
brake down is like

1-5 for exterior
1-5 for interior
1-10 for performance
1-5 for overall

I just want to say it was a great meet, except for my forehead getting a bad case of sunburn lol, other then that it was a great turnout with great people. A lot of people have already hit on some of things that may improve this even other then that I am looking forward to the meet next year

Veronica and I had spoke about the judging and I told her, as I did to some of the other judges, that I could not vote for some of the cars, which I personally felt were more deserving to win. I voted my conscience and not by my relationships.

this is the exact reason i retired from judging lol. when people lose they think its because judges are bias. but when they win they dont say anything lol. so imho i would leave the awards alone couple basic ones if any. and just enjoy each other company.

I'm not sure if you were the one that mentioned this at the event but it's a great idea 1trueG. This way attendees will know what car belongs to who if they have questions on set up or accessories. We will do this for sure. If someone doesnt want to wear the name badge, they don't have to. Not everyone showed there car tags but most did and it added an nice touch.

Ed had a cool twist on the trophy idea: best mod'ed interior, cleanest wheels, best engine work, best moded exterior. This would not be model or year specific. A number of the people who judged felt hestitant. I can understand this as it's a fairly small community and feelings can be hurt. Not sure how to handle this...open to ideas. It does seem nice to receive a token for efforts to make your ride special and adds a little suspense and drama to the event. But we want to encourage stock cars as well.

The overall concept was an event to pay tribute to our enjoyment of these fine cars and the social network that has developed around them. We wanted to make the event inclusive and open so others may come to see what we have aleady found as a great source of enjoyment. The bigger the participation the more attention we will attract from sponsors and vendors which in turn will make the action even better. Maybe judging for trophies works counter to the spirit of the event
