Need cover for driver side area of engine compartment

Hey guys/g's I bought an 05 g and it's missing a cover piece in the engine compartment on drivers side under the windshield. This is opposite the battery cover. My friend tells me that there should be one on the left side of the engine bay as his 370z and other g's have it too. I didn't know. When I bought the car I assumed that's how its should have been. No wonder when I wash my car the battery side stays dry but all the parts under the drivers side hood gets wet. I'm afraid over time ectronics or parts will fail because of constant exposure to moisture, etc. Do you know what this part is called or knowa place where I can get it? Junkyard etc? Thanks. I'm new so obviously some of you are laughing and cracking up. Anyway thanks. R

actually the g35s dont come with a cover there from factory. What a lot of people do is buy one of the JDM battery covers for the right hand drive models and then slightly modify/cut them to fit that location. Its not missing anything but you can buy one for ~$50 if you want one. Just look in the marketplace and there should be a few vendors selling them.

thanks. now here's someone who understands what i'm talkin about when i say "boonies". it's a red g35 by the way. most people like silver or black, i've always loved red on tan leather, no mods, stock everything just the way i like it. probably cheeses off the rest of the g community in my area that i haven't done anything to it but i like it plain. not even splash guards. plain jane g35.
