carnival style games/prizes...

kids stuff for adults with small children...
(pony ride , etc etc..)

create a skate show ..(kids are really into skateboarding)
get local skate shops involved ..
and get them to donate a deck or two for you to raffle . in exchange for free advertising on the flyers.. use raffle as a draw on advertising as well ..

get the local middle/high schools involved somehow..
(talent show to be performed at the show by any middle/high school students)

The 15-21 year old demographic is targeted b/c that's the future of the import car scene. That is the impressionable age at which the most influence and insight can be had. That is the group to target to help grow the scene and positively shape it into something bigger than extreme rivalry and bitter disputes at shows as it stands now.

What are the demographics of the users on this site and Infiniti owners? Maybe this isnt the right forum to get input from 15-21yo? Unless you are looking for the minority vs the majority.

I think that G35Papa has a point in that most of the drivers on here are not going to be in that age bracket or will almost be out of it, but also, people can comment on what they would have liked to see while going to shows at that age. I know I have been going to shows for a while and recently entering them too. OP, I like where you are going with this and hopefully you can develop something to replace all those that are failing. With the current state of the economy, it is difficult to draw a crowd in some areas, but can still be done. I think that trying to incorporate some of the newer or varying driving events would be a good idea...Gymkana, Rally, Drift, Lowriders, Drag, etc...Bring all car nuts together and create a bigger audience for more people to come out and enjoy.

I like the whole idea of having live installs or things of that nature done while at the car show...Have a local shop do an install while at the show, maybe even some hands on courses for people to learn about something in the car industry while being there...

this would be really cool, but where would they find space, and who's cars would get installs (spectators or show cars?)

Space is something that would just have to be planned for, and sectioned off...As far as who's car? Make it a contest on the site to promote it, or just a lucky customers car from the shop. Prolly a spectators car as the show cars would prolly have the work done, but I think that anyones would work basically. Main goal would be to grow the scene and get more people interested or involved...

Should have a raffle for a ride in a heavily modded car. I'm sure most 15-21 y/o kids haven't sat in a 450whp + car before.
