will, when are you guys thinking to put on the show? i've been itching to drive back home

as for the show, lots of strippers (if not available, just hot chicks...but none from Plano), energy drink vendors, and ppl handing out free magazines. it'd also be cool if you could get one of those mobile dyno trucks to show up...those things attract a lot of attention.

Quote: Like the Reno girls? Jesse and I are still smelling something "fishy" about that group...

Yeah, looked good but wasn't a pleasant experience. I still laugh @ all the high school looking guys trying to high five me and telling their friends about me.

Quote: The 15-21 year old demographic is targeted b/c that's the future of the import car scene.
Very true, but only because old folk have to die and kids grow up. The elders still need to teach the young'n the ropes

Quote: That is the impressionable age at which the most influence and insight can be had. That is the group to target to help grow the scene and positively shape it into something bigger than extreme rivalry and bitter disputes at shows as it stands now.
The 15-21 age group is only known to set trends in fashion and music. The truth is that most in this age group don't have the financial ability to set a trend in the automotive show industry. You already partially figured it out, look @ HIN...

The truth is, the people setting trends in this industry are the 24-35 age group. This is the group that for the most part has a good job and have nothing better to splurge their money on. Especially the ones that still live @ home...

I'm not looking for those kids to set trends w/ their cars, but be the future trend setters when they reach my age. In Texas the scene is dying off with very little support from big shows. Participation and spectator attendance is just dismal. Looking to reignite it!

Thinking about doing the show in possibly March or April.

Ideas I like so far:

- Raffle
- Giveaways
- Females
- Lower ticket costs
- More classes
- Full feedback support after the show with judges regarding scorecards
- Photo area w/ models
