Matte Black Roof

Long time lurker but first time I am posting pics up of my car on the boards. I got my roof wrapped by Lyle over in San Carlos (he just opened up his shop) last week and I just wanted to post some pics and share some of his great work. He was able to do the roof in about an hour and a half and has multiple colors/finishes available.

Let me know what you guys think! (I will try and get better photos soon)

I am still not 100% sure about the look yet but he did a great job on it (good thing I didn't get it painted!). We'll see how it grows on me in the next month or so. If you are looking to get something wrapped and want his contact info, lemme know!

Looks good. Not sure about the flat black but the contrast on a IP is great. Unlike you, I got my roof painted black. Big things coming in 2010 for my car and Vinyl Styles.....

mmmm not terrible, i prefer gloss/painted but i think it would look better if you had say a cf hood and trunk or something to match the theme. i would also recommend painting your lip and painting your headlights black.

I got my roof wrapped by Lyle a few months ago too, and he did a great job!!! i went with the gloss black instead of matte.

his price is a little pricey but his roof vinyl is one piece. It's not two piece like blue_bat.

It was $200 before the 20% discount, so it came out to 160. Also, yes, I do not have a sunroof, its a base 1st gen IP w/ black interior and no premium package, pretty rare I think. I also went with this and paid the little extra to have the 1 piece instead of the 2 piece by bat. It is a double layer vinyl (gloss below matte) for a total of about 6mm thick, Lyle did a great job tucking the vinyl under the stripping, ill try and get close up shots of the seams, GREAT quality work!

^Yeah, didn't notice that. It's kinda rare to find one without one.

Matte looks ok, but I think i prefer the gloss black.

Curious to know, do any of you guys know how much it'll cost to wrap the entire car? Wondering how it'll look and how it'll hold up to rocks. My experience with vinyl layovers on glass and windows is that they ding up and get scratched easily, perhaps for auto they use a better one?
