Sorry for the mystery: The project car is a customers 2008 FX35AWD with the VQ35DE engine. The project involves a Stillen Stage 2 supercharger kit and Stillen stainless steel cat back system.

The supercharger is a roots type running 6 lbs boost. Stillen dyno test results show a 110 hp increase at rear wheels. (The 2008 FX35 is factory rated at 275 hp) The install is 50-state CARB legal.

This project has been a lot of fun- every part is nicley finished and fit has been perfect.

A nice picture of the massive heat exchanger directly beneath the rotary vanes that will cool the pressurized intake charge

fitting the beast, it's a tight but perfect fit

Nice shot off the additional 7th injector to feed the beast when he's angry conditions

Yeah I know. Never been a fan of their 'power bubble' hoods or cowl for the G's or Z's. Too bad, I've always liked their SC's.

Thought it might be a FX but wanted to ask to be sure, thanks guys.
FX = can keep the OEM hood intact = big bonus in my book.

Looking good there Brian

I'd love to have an extra 110 hp to the wheels! Man, I wanna go S/C.

thanks for correcting the title Andy

On with the install....

The heat exchanger system is intricate, with an auxiliary coolant reservoir complete with a pressure relief type cap, electric coolant pump on the left front chassis clip and a substantial heat exchanger mounted in front of radiator. We will be spend quite a bit of time making sure plumbing looks as close to factory as possible and use OE fasteners wherever possible.

The FX's are 280 hp, not 303. The '09+ has the VQ35HR, however.

Next step is the install of the cold air intake system with K&N filter

The supercharged engine will run 1 rangeg colder NGK PLFR6A/11 plugs (sorry for the poor focus )

Heat exchanger coolant pump mounts on right front pumper clip

And the heat exchanger (intercooler) coolant resevoir finds a home nestled next to the powersteering pump

Wiring is coming next...
