Smog Test Recommendations - Penninsula

Can anyone recommend a good place to get a smog test done on the Penninsula? I dont have much engine work done but I also dont want to take it somewhere that will hastle me any with the polished stuff I have, even though it does not change the engine in any way. Thanks...

if you're willing to drive a bit, you should PM LeMansZCa in this thread:

Don't go to Quik Smog in Mountain View.. On my previous car, they questioned every single modification I had done, called CARB on all the E.O. numbers, and failed me the first time cause one of the CARB numbers was numbered incorrectly (# for an '02 when mine was an '03, but the '02 was a completely different motor and part). I came back with the correct CARB sticker and they still had issues with it because I put the sticker on the firewall instead of on the part.

Thanks for the input so far. If I remember correctly, a carb sticker is no longer required for the pop charger.

Didn't know that, but I'd still sport it if you have it. Mine came with one. I thought any mods from intake to cats req CARB approval for Cali. I'd put your stock plenum cover on to hide that spacer too.
