Hello, new guy in Norcal
I am going around a couple of the forums introducing myself ahead of time.

I am moving to Norcal ( San Jose) on Aug 21, Just wanted to introduce myself

how useful are radar detectors in Norcal?

just as useful as it is anywhere else? lol I mean there's cops with lasers so it doesn't help you there, but the majority use radar. It's more useful to simply not speed =D

Haha I was just curious, I wanted to know if the majority used lasers or not.
I should of asked that instead haha o well xD

It all depends on what city you are in, IMO. If the city has money, they are more likely to have laser.

CHP on the other hand, I have no clue. I personally don't use a radar detector, and only got 1 ticket which was local. I do admit, having one in my car does make me feel a lot safer.
