I have a question,
how useful are radar detectors in Norcal?

just as useful as it is anywhere else? lol I mean there's cops with lasers so it doesn't help you there, but the majority use radar. It's more useful to simply not speed =D

Haha I was just curious, I wanted to know if the majority used lasers or not.

It all depends on what city you are in, IMO. If the city has money, they are more likely to have laser.

Well san Jose is broke as ****. So I doubt they use lasers

CHP on the other hand, I have no clue. I personally don't use a radar detector, and only got 1 ticket which was local. I do admit, having one in my car does make me feel a lot safer.
