Formula DRIFT Returns to Infineon Raceway

Infineon Raceway is one of the four original Formula DRIFT tracks on the circuit. Located in Sonoma, CA, Infineon is close to the world famous wineries and driving distance from both Oakland and San Francisco.
Utilizing only a portion of the full 2.52-mile road course, Formula DRIFT uses the exit for Turn 4A, Turn 7A, and Turn 7. One of the fastest tracks of the season, Infineon’s course starts with a downhill straight that has seen drivers reach the 100mph+ mark before entering the fast right-hand turn. Drivers will have to use their best car control skills to manage the speed and slide back around the sweeping turns. Fans will be treated to some of the best tandem matchups that are very close and exciting.

The action heats up with less than 100 points separating the top drivers from the championship. With only 1 event before the Finals the drivers will put it all on the line to win. Round 6: Point of Impact will also feature the Fatlace 1 of 1 Showcase bringing out a collection of the finest vehicles in the Bay Area.

I'm sure you can buy tickets at the actual event; however i do not know what the pricing is for tickets the day of. As soon as i find out i will update this thread.

Ya so going to have to take saturday off for this one. Never seen Formula D in person.

 

been here twice already and its a load of fun..First time I went, saw from start to somewhat finish..The second time I went, we skipped the individual runs and just went for the tandem, which is the best part..

Bring water, money and sunscreen, you will need it..

Awesome event! Tons of fun lots of girls. Lots of free stuff hehe. I drank so much nos.... Also was so close to the track I could have spit on the cars as they were flying by at 100mph. Had to take a shower when I got home cause I had lil pieces of rubber all over me. Awesome!!!!
