I am headed to Infineon this Sat (the 6th) for a HPDE event but may not be able to get my hands on a helmet. Was wondering if there was anyone around Sac that would be willing to lend/rent/sell me a cheap helmet I could use. Just looking for something that is Snell or DOT approved, preferably open faced, and can fit my huge dome.

You can borrow some at the infineon raceway. All you need to give them is your license. I'll be there too so see you there next week

 

I was actually talking to Jerry and he said that they are doing hyperdrive on sunday so they will have that available but since they aren't running hyperdrive on saturday, they weren't planning on/don't usually rent them out at the track.

Oh really!? Didn't know that they might do that. If you have a motorcycle helmet it'll be one. I just borrowed my girlfriends parents helmet and they said that it'll be fine. I'm hpde 1 since I did the Hyperdrive last time. I'll be there saturday

Yup I did it on the 25th. They don't have a spare one. Sorry. It'll be fun! Was a good feeling passing up hella cars there. Also playing gran turismo helped a lot as it showed me the best line and my intructor was pretty impressed in my driving line lol. See you there!

Was in HPDE1.. had to cancel for a family thing. Did just get back from Laguna Seca with NCRC.. what a blast that track is.
