Is there any one of there that would help me replace my stock sub/amp in my 05 g sedan bose.


I dont have a new sub yet, and I have a amp already that I got when I parted out a prelude, hope it can be used, if not I have a small budget few hun.


Man I just had a audi q5 base for a loaner car and that ****s on the g's system, even with my upgraded speakers all around. Im hoping that with a better sub and amp I can a tleast be on that level.




Ive done engine swaps before, but electrical confuses me. so if anyone can help me , id glady buy a decent dinner and or some drank


If not can anyone recommend a shop here that one charge 1200 just to swap out the sub, because I know if I knew what I was doing it shouldn't take more than a a hr or two.

 

i am pretty good with stereos. what exactly do you mean replace? you want to run another stock sub or add an aftermarket sub to the bose system? with an aftermarket amp?

 

I'm trying to run an aftermarket in stock location, and use a better amp.

Not sure if the one I have can power the in car and new amp. Just tryin to keep it clean as possible
Don't want to add a new box or anything.


Or at the minium just put in a better amp, if it will improve the sound quality of the current speakers.

I have Polk 450 in the rear doors and the Polk db"s ( not sure if that's the right model) just the nicer ones that come w tweets in the front.

 

ok so you will need a sub that doesnt need a box and only needs free air to work properly. rockford makes a sub that is pretty decent that i would run if i was doing this. ill try and find out which one exactly it is when i get home. its only an 8 i believe also
