Is $344 (parts & labor) a good deal to replace my lr/rr struts?

If you ever plan to lower your car now is the time to do so. Coilovers installed will run you 1k on the low end, spring and shock replacement will cost you a little less. If you opt to have springs and shock don't skimp on the shocks since we drive heavy cars.

Can't tell difference between anything. Would love to get help and recos on better ones. Always stuck to Infiniti parts.

Skip the cheap coilovers and stick with a two piece suspension. No thousand dollar coilovers will match the performance of a $600-800 spring and strut combo.

+1 coilovers are only good for height adjust-ability

You think this car is heavy? Really? What do you define as light then? Lol! Heavy is Chrysler 300M, Taurus (new one). My last car was FWD and weighed 3200 without driver. It ran 0-60 in 5 secs.

I didn't say it was light. It just ain't "heavy". The Tausus SEL is 4100 pounds! That has a V-6 in it too. 300M, Charger, Challenger, Magnum all 4000 pounds! I know of some "light" cars. I have one in build status right now. A '70 Karmann Ghia. It weighs in sub-1900 pounds fully built. Gutless wonder but I digress.

This is completely wrong information. A "Coilover" is a shock and spring combo with a threaded shock body that allows for height adjustment and/or spring adjustment. Now linear vs progressive springs is a whole different story. Any off the shelf coilover system will be a whole lot cheaper than having shocks custom valved for the spring type you decide to go with. I'm sure companies do their homework before releasing a product out in to the market.

Just a quick question ...If you go with lowering the car and coilovers do you lose some of the comfort on the ride? Im planning to drop mine soon.
