Gas Gauge Fix Day/Meet
I could not wait any longer so I did mine today. It was so easy.
Pulled up the rear seats and just left them in but in an upright position. In the back under the matt you will see two large circle covers, the one behind the passenger seat is the fuel pump which I did not feel like removing so I went ahead and started with the cover behind the driver side seat.
Twist the four black tabs and lift off the metal cover, then unclup the connection by pushing tab on top and pull backwards. Once that is removed then just remove the 6-7 little black screws and lift off the black ring plate. Before removing the large cover for the drop in sensor I cleaned the top as it was real dirty, looks real brown but once cleaned it is white.
Slowly remove the whole system and turn a little to one side to get the arm out.
Now my car read empty for the whole two days before this even though I knew I had about 1/4 tank.
Pic of the fuel in the tank once the cover was removed, told you I had fuel.

Pic of the system out of the car.

The sensor itself that I cleaned with an ear bud, you could actually seen it start to shine again.

Andonce it was all put back together, I found my missing 1/4 tank of gas
