Stay away from this restaurant!!

I don't know if any of you actually heard of this restaurant, but stay away from this one.

The owners of this restaurant are crooks.

This is what basically is going on.

I posted the review below on Yelp yesterday, but they deleted it for some reason today.

This review is mainly about the owners of this restaurant.

I am the son of the previous owner, who used to run this restaurant when it was called Shagun. We had sold our restaurant in march of 2009 to Madhuban. We had agreed upon this amount of money under the contract and they had made the first three payments, which were never on time. After that we had an issue, but later was resolved. During that time they did not have to pay us, but once that issue was resolved they were suppose to start paying us under the contract. As of today, we havent received any payment and I have tried contacting the owners so many times, but they keep on ignoring me. The manager keeps telling me that either he is in a meeting or he is not in town every time I call. They just make up some bull crap every time I call. I remember when I was ten years old my dad used to work nights shifts all the time and pretty much worked his butt off for this restaurant and it really hurt him when he had to sell it. What Im trying to say is that you dont buy someone's restaurant and not pay them for it.

These guys are crooks and deserve no business.

These are the two owners: One is on the right and the other is behind the guy in the Yellow, if you ever see them, ask them where our money is.

you realize there's this special thing called civil courts......and I feel for you, but I'd be careful how much you badmouth these guys, last thing you want is a defamation suit filed against you

^^Totally understand, had a lawyer sent them a letter then received one payment. Then they stopped again and we already payed the lawyer $2000 and couldn't afford another one.

Don't worry about the law suit.. these guys are cheap. Last time my lawyer contacted their lawyer, he said he quit because they didn't pay him.

Why not go after them for a lump sum of what they owe rather than just a payment? There's no need to go by the contract anymore as they have obviously already reneged on their end. If you really want your money, go find an attorney that will pursue them for the full amount without charging you fully until the money is collected. If your story is true, take them to court and don't settle outside of court for anything less than the full amount and attorney fees.

I have to agree as I have taken 4 people to court....unfortunate but sometimes it necc. as there are a lot of losers out there. Go after the full amount and move on. By the sounds of it you should win this hands down.

Yelp probably deleted your review because it was personal and not about a consumer experience there.

Hope you guys get your money. Sucks to be in that situation

Good things come to good people and even worse things come to bad people. Stay positive and all will work out.
