Replacement for Wrecked G35

After insurance told me my 2003 is total, I found a 2004 with sport package, 800 miles, no scratches, traded in by some old guy for a Cadillac. They are asking $32,999. It's Blk /Blk, 6mt, without navigation. I take it back in 2 hours, what should I do?

BASE ACURA TLX NOW WANT A G35 AGAIN THOUGH
Go for it.
Do what I did...install the PIONEER head unit.
Order the D-Din and A/C Controller.

Let us know what your plans are

No premium package? Are they willing to negotiate? I think you could squeeze a little more out of them since the '05s are around now

Will you be able to reclaim some parts from your old car?

man, that's sad to hear linda..

i agree with andy, i think that you could most likely get a little bit more of a discount since the 05s are out in force now..

good luck!

This G is at a Oldsmobile/Cadiallac lot, I don't think they care about the 2005's being out. After I took the 04 back I went and drove an auto 2005 with 19's & navi, it has 1,000 miles on it because the dealer has been driving it. He said he wants 39,000. I want the 04 to have the extra money for wheels, but the 05 drove so nice.
The body shop is going to let me take my exhaust off and they said I would have 1st chance at the buy back. My interior is still perfect and the backend. I probably could part it out and make some money. I was able to save some of my bulbs, one clear corner, floor mats, cargo net, crank pulley, brake fluid cover, but I'm turning in all the receipts for reimbursement. My bumper was trashed so I told them my Ken style bumper was on the car so I can get the money for that. It will all work out some how.

I bet you could get quite a bit of money if you sold the brand new 2005 19" OEM wheels. Would that be enough toward aftermarket ones?

Treat yourself to an '05 =) Maybe get one with no navi? That'd be $2000 off, which would help with the wheels too.

Linda,

I didn't know that you totaled your G? Did you post the details? Sorry to hear about that. I say you get the '05.

I'm thinking about the 05 pretty hard. I guess there isn't to much trouble getting an auto. I just wonder how much they will come down on the price. When I bought my 03 in March they would come down at all. Here it is only Jan. so I bet they won't now either. Apparently, all the brand new 04's are gone.
As far as the rims I really haven't picked any out for sure yet.

By the time I get my refund for the extended warranty, the amount for the upgrades (exhaust, intake, crank pulley, front-end mask, chrome rims, etc.) and then the bodyshop lets me go take them off my car for my new one. I should be in pretty good shape. Just my insurance premiums for the next two years.

If you missed the pics here are some more:
