Sinking A-Pillar

Does anyone have this problem? The driver pillar piece on the outside of the car is now rubbin against the top fender near the mirror outside the car. When I checked the other side, the gap is about 1/5 inches. On the driver side, there's no gap and it's actually rubbing against the top of the fender (at the base of the windshield).

What could be causing this?

My windshield was cracked in Feb. Drove around for 4 months. Could it be I lost structural support and now A-Pillar is sinking?

Check if the fender bolts are tight near door the top door hinge. Another possibility is hood hinges are binding and causing some flex in fender.

A pillar cover sliding is not likely.

thanks. i'll take a look at that. sounds logical since the car has been through some rough stuff lately in Oakland. ran into an deep pothole on 98th one night. never thought anything would be strong enough to flex parts of the car and stay that way.
