I just finished my car-pc and realized that my gps mouse and wi-fi are just way too noticable on the rear speaker deck. My best option seems to be to do a medium-dark tint. My issue is that the only tint shops I know in the area are those crappy "3 window $79 specials places" in San Francisco's Mission district. Any suggestions for tint shops in the area and also tint brands?

Sidney did a great job on my tint. Tints over the dot matrix on the back window. A little more expensive compared to your typical tint place, but you get what you pay for. Good selection, knows what he is talking about.

The only problem I had was I got metallic tint before I knew I was going to buy a aftermarket navi. Fortunately, no problems!

 

Go with wil. He does the best jobs I've ever seen. He came to my house to work on mine.

About how much are you guys paying for your tint jobs? Also what kind of tint did you guys get?

 

I went to Auto Mall Tint Specialist. I got V-Kook (70%) on front 2 windows, Huper Optik(40%) on back 2 windows and Huper Optik (30%) on rear glass. I pay $450.00 with 5% website discount and cash discount. He did a great job. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
