Anyone looking for high end alarm for $600?

howdy,

I, along with James (350Z owner), is trying to work with Alan from Audiomobile in Oakland on getting the Compustar 2WSS-AS alarm installed.

Thi is currently the top of the line alarm.

Check out www.compustar.org for details.

A standard install will set you back $550.

With the bells and whistles, which include the following:

1)true "NEUTRAL-SAFETY" no need to mess with buttons or anything before getting out of car. it will not start in any gears but neutral. this is a feature that no other shops will even offer!! (6MT equipped vehicles)

2)custom configured proxy sensor w/time and piezo.
if anyones aroung the car, it'll beep, instead of setting off the entire alarm. also comes with on/off switch.

3)window up/down

4)custom LED mounts

$600 IF AND ONLY IF we get one more person to join in. It's normally $700 with the bells and whistles.

We're looking at installing before March 1st. If you have a 5AT, it may be a bit cheaper because no need for a neutral safety, but I don't know by how much.

PLEASE PM if interested.

Hey Vinh, have you tried calling other places to see how much they're charging?

yeah...other places are cheaper but may not offer all the perks like remote start, up/down windows.

dynamic audio in San Jose offers $400 installed for the Clifford Matrix RS3.5 2-Way System with up/down windows, standard LED mounts, and a standard proxy sensor.

so for an extra $200, you can get the Compustar alarm which is advertised as having greater range plus remote start.

PM if interested.

Vinh

Yeh, I highly recommend these guys at Audiomobile. They are very knowledgeable w/ alarms and electronics......we have Compustar on all of our company trucks and Vipers on my Gs.......noticeable difference in range between the two.

I am ressurecting this to anyone who is interested. Vinh hasn't gotten his done yet, so therefore we could use one or more people to get discounts. This is by far the best alarm system out there and it will be installed with all the bells and whistles. We are hoping to get this done within these few weeks so once we get one more than we can set an actual date and confirm it with the shop owner. So for any interested party, please sign up so that we can all save some money to buy more crap for our cars.. =p

Im down for an alarm system. My work place is in Oakland so I can drop by or something. Daly city is cool too but it depends on what other people feel like doing. What do you guys think?
