That's what you would think. But that's not the way it's being run. I tried to pay and was told that all 20 spots are filled up. This is the reply I got from MOTOP.

Jim,

We already have max capacity, however some people have conditional attendance, so stick around the thread. As soon as you see spot 20 available, signh up and pay. This will ensure your participation.

Maybe next year we can do the list so that when you place yourself on the list you put that days date and then you have 5 day's to pay or someone else get's your spot, I dunno.

Maybe there should be a wait list so that whenever someone drops out of the top 20 spots, then the first person on the wait list will get on. Maybe there also should be a deadline, like one week before the event for everyone to pay up that's in the top 20. If not all 20 have paid up by the deadline then the remaining spots could be opened up to the alternates. I think it's a bit unfair for a person to hold a spot on the list and then decide they can't make it right before the event. That's a spot wasted that could have went to someone else. JMO.

Darren,

That's the way i was going to do it. People on my350z are pretty aprehensive about paying up front because they don't know me. I PMed all of them saying that we have more people than Moda can handle and if they want to gurantee their participation they need to pay ASAP, otherwise their spots will be taken.

Eloy,

I think it will be unfair for people to be able to signup past 20 only to find out that there's no room for them. At the same time it will be unfair to take people off the list only because they didn't pay right away. Now that they have a deadline to pay by, things should be much easier.

Everybody who signed up on this forum and didn't pay. If I don't receive payment/payment arrangements from you by Sunday March 6th, your spots will be up for grabs.

Sorry for the confusion. I should have checked with Andrew (MOTOP) before I posted. It's just that we all know from experience that a lot of people put there names on the list and flake at the last minute. I just thought that if someone is willing to pay, we should give them a spot. You snooze you lose, right?

I'm going to take my Sony DSC-P7 digicam so I will try to take as many videos as I can. I took a few last time and it came out okay as far as video and sound quality. Anyone have a better camera with better video, audio quality?

If anyone wants them, I have AVI files of all of the G35s dyno runs from the last NorCal Dyno Day. If anyone wants to host them, let me know.

kurtis...

i can host them, but only if you edit them so that we only get the beginning and end of one run per car.

i tried editing the file you sent me for my car, but I have no idea how to just get the video when they are in 4th gear and begin pulling.

There are bound to be people on the list that do not pay. I say we create a waiting list for alternates in the event people on the list flake out.

You should PM MOTOP. He is the one organizing this event. He gave everyone on this board who is signed up a deadline of the 6th to pay up or their spots would be up for grabs. Since the 6th has past and gone perhaps there are spots up for grabs now.

I have numerous requests from both forums and and they are all timestamped, waiting list will be processed in the order in which requests were received. I think it is fair.
