Thoughts On Parking G Outside

I'm still in the market for a 2005 G35, but what worries me is that I will have to park the car outside. Unfortunately, my apt only allows one garage spot per apt and my cousin already has it to store his RX8, so I'll have to park on the street. What are your opinions on this? I might have to find another place b/c i really want a garage, but that won't be an option till my lease runs up in Sept and I really want the car now. What are you ideas/opinions? Is it safe to park outside (i've only lived in SF for 2 yrs, so I'm not sure how safe it is)?

Oh no, don't park that baby outside if you can help it! My baby sleeps in the garage at night, but I park it outside where I work. Sucks, but oh well!

Other then the obvious concerns of having the G stolen is the headlights being stolen as well. There have been some scattered reports of this happening.
