My baby needs new shoes...any suggestions?

That time has come....rear tires slippin and sliding and bald as hell! Anyone have any suggestions where to get tires local and for a sweet price? I'm in San Francisco.

Well...so far....got $560 for 2 pilot sports (in SF SOMA)...including mounting, balancing, disposal, stems, tax.

I have heard the S-03's are not that great. I have heard the BFG KDW2 is a very grippy tire and under $200/tire, but one guy on another thread said he had a tire temp monitor and they got hot very quickly.

You could also check out Kumho, Michelin Pilot Sports, or Goodyear Eagle F1's. Try www.tires.com and see how their prices are (ask for a discount). Let us know what you decide on and how you like them.

I have them, no complaints. I have heard people complain about the road noise from the S-03's, but so far so good.

redwood general tire in redwood city. There is a coupon for 10% off michelin tires from them in the free "redwood city daily news" paper
