2005 G35 Coupe 6MT for. 500 over invoice? norcal
went in to test drive the 6MT coupe. i got them to agree to 500 over invoice with whatever options i want, what do you guys think? i looked up online and adding 500 over invoice with the options i want, it comes to 34500, then add on 7.75% tax, licensing, registration, i figure about 38000? Let me know if this is good or not, btw, do we have to pay a luxury tax on the G?
where in NorCal? I have to paid 8.75% sals tax
, 500 over invoice is good deal...
no luxury tax, just have to pay gas guzzler tax every time you fill it up
(16~18mpg
)...good luck with purchase!

Where did you get such a good deal? I'm planning to order a 6MT coupe within 2 weeks called pretty much most of the dealers around norcal and they'd only budge 1k off msrp max.
"$500 over invoice....is that a good deal?" is an understatement. come on, it doesn't take a genius to figure that out!!!!
and likewise, you don't need our advice to confirm it.

I think if you can pay anything under MSRP in California you can't be too mad. I ordered my car through Grubbs and got it for invoice.

Comes to 37,282. After dealer tax, state inspection, document fee, and California state taxes it came to 40,209.71.
I live in Norcal (specifically Fairfield, CA) and in my immediate area there is no such thing as invoice. They have MSRP and for my area there is a markup of 2,995 added to the vehicle just because of where we live. It's ridicuous. My wife had to do a driver's test at the DMV because she had some vision problems so I walked over to this Nissan dealer to check out the 350 Z's while she took the test. They were mostly the convertibles touring model. I looked at the sticker and the MSRP ranged from 34-36K. But there was this markup for the area of 4,995 so they were asking for over 40K for convertible Nissan 350 Z's. I could not believe it.
I tell everyone that I know to go out of town to Concord, Roseville or the Bay Area and not buy anything around here............

...and you walked away from the table?
I got my '05 for near invoice VPP from Grubbs in 12/04. You're not going to get much better than $500 over unless you can get VPP.
