Dropped off my car for rattles and they gave me an 04 sedan. Only costed 5 dollars, for their car, didn't have to fill it up with Gas or anything. They also washed and vaccumed my car

I've been afraid to have them wash mine when I take it in for service. Nothing against them... more like I don't trust anyone with my car ^__^
it's hit or miss. I got a 2004 once then the next time I got an 05 w/ XM radio (i think only the free channels).
I don't let them wash my car though. Who's your service advisor?

My service advisor was a dick, he wasn't in a good mood or something. I asked him if I could get an 05 since I'm used to driving an 05 with the radio ****, he said I already assigned this one to you, even though there was two 05's sitting next to that 04.
I will take a look at Infiniti of Oakland next time, but to drive 30-40 minutes? or just pay 5 bucks? By the way do you know if they take care of chips there? Stevens Creek (SJ) doesn't have a shop.

Who was your service advisor at Frontier? I have had a good relationship with them ever since I purchased my first coupe and have never had any problems. I always get the newest loaner car and they never flinch when I have any work done, despite any of my mods.
And, I would advise you not to get your car washed their. I do have them clean my interior, but one time, they washed my car anyways, and they bent my license plate. Anyhow, my service advisor admitted that it was a mistake for them to wash my car and I received a complete detailing free of charge. Took out all my swirls and light scuffs/scratches

My service advisor at Frontier left, his name is Steve Arambula. I will need to use a different advisor and would appreciate knowing which one is a problem and which one is helpful. I took my 03 sedan there for 3 years. I traded for an 05 coupe in April and haven't had the car in the shop yet. Any insight into the remaining service advisors would be appreciated.
I've known Steve for quite a while now. He and I would always talk about his 240Z. It's a shame he retired. For now, I have Albert. He seems cool as well. Has done many race car builds from the ground up. Last time, no problems at all.
Thanks for the response liu69. Steve didn't actually retire, he quit and went to work with his wife. Not sure what business she is in but he decided to help or work with her. I saw lots of pictures of his yellow Z and I think it was a Jeep he always took off road. I met him back in October 2002 when I crunched the front of my G sedan after running into plastic bins on 101. He met me on a saturday morning as the car pulled in on a flatbed tow truck.
I learned a lot about the G from that experience and the service from Frontier. Now I gotta establish a new relationship with a different service guy. I know they hired a new guy, I just ahven't talked to anyone yet. Thanks again.

Oh wow. I had no idea. I just thought he retired. I know he had a family emergency of some sorts a month or two ago and he was out for quite some time. I should give him a call to see how he's doing and what he's up to.
Anyhow, I think he told me about your sedan actually.

I have a tire cupping/feathering issue that Frontier would not cover, and it really pisses me off. It is partially my fault because I was over the 1 yr/12k mile warranty, but only by a couple weeks. They will NOT budge! I only had 6800 miles on it too, and tire wear is a mileage-based problem, not time. They will not cover it under warranty, even though the service advisor admits that it could be a toe problem. He is oblivious to the fact that the Z had a RECALL and the two cars are very similar.
I still need to get my alignment checked at an independent shop and I have a feeling both the front and rear toe are out of spec, and have been since the very beginning.
