got off work, and it started to rain, drove behind my work and hit some metal plate on the ground, still in 1st gear and going about 15 or so mph, the car somewhat skipped or hop and the car started to drift, i couldnt control it in time and slammed into the guardrail , really really sucks

Damn man, so sorry. There are some train tracks I cross over every day, to and from work. They have the metal plates between the tracks and on either side. When it rains and I drive over them the VDC goes crazy even at low speed.
