I see your looking into wheels as well...LOL planning ahead I see.
It's just a very sad because i won't have my car for a long time. So, i decide to think a litle positive. I really want aftermarket stuff but my bodyshop seem doesn't care and doesn't want to bother. From what i saw, a new front bumper, 1 new chair and side skirt are must. I checked out many front bumpers and i think i will be better off with 06 front bumper. I really want a set of 19 inches, but i don't think the repair cost will have $3000 gap.

Man, good thing you didn't have a passenger!

I would get on the horn with the other person's insurance and get a loaner ASAP (and make sure you keep all receipts of any transportation costs in the meantime, ie. cabs) because it's totally ridiculous that you are out transportation because of this. Oh, and if the bodyshop doesn't seem to give a crap, can't you go to another one?

Don't worry, if the cops says there were witnesses and you've got the police report, things should be fine, it'll just take some time. Good luck!

it doesn't look TOO bad... although it doesn't look the greatest. I est about 13-15 grand in parts and labor assuming side curtain and seat air bag went off... unless you have an 05 and up and no one was occupied in the Pass seat (sorry, didn't read whole post) . sorry for your loss

Wow . . . That's a far cry from when I saw your G the last time over at Scott Performance, Ken. Geez, maintain and deal with the other insurance company. See what they will offer you. Would you happen to have a copy of the accident report? There might be some useful info in there.

Sorry to hear about your loss and I'm glad that you're doing ok. Just make sure that you don't settle your claim with the other insurance company too quickly because they'll want you to settle as soon as possible to avoid paying more money. Best of luck.

I dont like the sound of the body shop guy. Can you use a different shop? Maybe you can go to a shop that will order you a body kit instead....

Which bodyshop did they take it to? Go see a chiropractor too....Did your parents flip out on you? As long as you're ok man...I know what's it's like to get smooshed like that...

What kind of SUV hit you and what kind of driver?

Hey Man, make sure you're really ok too.

I hit a deer on the fwy years ago and it was kind of a front quarter impact. At first I just had a stiff neck, but about a week later I was in a neck brace.

It's a 90 Ford type minsize-SUV/truck, i can careless of that piece of ****. What i care about is..."Whose fault was it?" The cop said there were 5 witnesses said it's his fault on running a red-light. I asked the cop the same question 3 times and he got annoyed, and the paramedic started to worry if i have brain damage . I still have a bad feeling about this accident. It seems like this is not the ending yet...

the report was out in this morning! There were 5 witnesses accounted. 4 of them said the other guy didn't yeild/stop for red light. 1 of them didn't see anything, was there to help. Now, i can finally sleep a little better tonight. I hope my car will be back on the road soon.
