Where to get my G Painted Black? Body Shops?

I currently own a 05 G35 Platinum and I am looking to get my baby painted the sexiest and shiniest black ever, with high quality workmanship. Can anyone recommend me a good shop that can do a complete body painting extremely well.

My goal is black on black. With black chrome rims, with chrome 3" lip and blacked out tail lights.

its really not a good idea to paint your car..unless your turning it into a show car but even then its a bad idea...personally its best to stay away from any paint jobs...no matter how good the shop is its never as good as factory plus if you ever try to resell it people will think you had a major accident...IMO

AND on top of that it's VERY expensive to CHANGE colors. Most people think it's just a matter of shooting a different color on the outside. Well if you have ever seen that, it looks like crap. When you change colors, you must spray ANYTHING that has the original color on it or it just looks bad. You are talking of a minimum of 5K for a DECENT job. 10K for a show job and much more if you want a show winner.

Do yourself a favor, polish the one you have and find accessories that complement that color.

I agree, but then I don't agree. I defintely agree with the resell fact. I never thought about that. I should defintely take that into consideration. However, I had my old 1995 Maxima SE repainted from factory blue to black pearl and it came out wonderfully. They made sure to get every corner (including under the hood, inside the doors, and the trunk), clear coated it nicely, wet sanded it, and waxed it to perfection. This was done back in Chicago for $2,000. The only complaint I had was that they somehow got a small drop of paint on my kickplate which was impossible to remove.

I dont have really any pics of it but here are some thumbnails

If you want to paint your G, go for it. Visit Phil at Image Auto Body in SSF. He did Vinh's custom Lambo yellow coupe and he painted my Stillen chin spoiler. He does excellent work.

i've delt with city body in san jose for awhile. They do mainly high end cars but I've had my friend's rx-7 completely repainted and a few misc parts like the spoiler and rear bumper on my old car painted. excellent job.
